Policies

Cancellation Policy

When an appointment is made, time has been set aside from the tutor's day to teach the lesson. If you need to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session, our office or the tutor must be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Weekend appointments must be canceled by 5 PM PST on Friday. If a cancellation notice is not given within the appropriate time frame, we reserve the right to charge for the entire session. You are responsible for arriving on time to your scheduled meetings (if not meeting at home) or your tutor’s waiting time will be counted as part of the tutoring hours. Academic Honesty Policy

We embrace a comprehensive academic honesty policy to ensure the highest standards of personal integrity. Schools and teachers recommend Big Brother Tutors to their students because they know we uphold the highest standards of academic honesty. Our tutors may provide assistance, but they never do the work for a student, no matter how severe the pressure or time constraints.

For parents, this policy provides peace of mind knowing their child is getting the right kind of assistance that will truly help them learn. In the long term, it is a major disservice to a child when the tutor does the work for him/her.

Warranty Policy

Big Brother Tutors makes no promises or warranties with regards to a student's performance as a result of any tutoring and mentoring provided.
